21 year old Sociology with Social Psychology graduate. Currently studying for a Masters in Social Research Methods at The University of York. Do I know what I am doing with my life? No I do not.

It’s like, I know I’m in an incredibly privileged position to have a BA and to be studying for my Masters… But like, was this all really worth four years of being miserable as shit?

The answer is no. Take me back three and a half years and I would have dropped out after first term of first year like I wanted.

Finn died last night, and then Pancake passed away this morning.

Never been so heartbroken in my entire life.

We got them a ballpit, Marshall’s Pop ‘n Play ferret toy. I would recommend this toy!  The plastic can easily be punctured by teeth, so it ought to be used under supervision - Poison, the hooded rat, particularly likes to pop one onto her teeth to carry them and steal them. She also likes to hug and roll them around.  Roxy likes to bury herself in them, and pop out, like a child. Extra balls aren’t at all expensive (there are two packs pictured here - one isn’t enough) and can be added to with gachapon balls, if you happen to have those lying around for some reason. It’s a very good size for rats - I’d almost call it small for ferrets, unless they’re really quite a bit smaller than I’m picturing. The Marshall tunnels can be pressed into the openings, but I don’t have any of those to show!
I put out the pit and throw a few treats into it, and it satisfies their digging.  As you can also see, it’s amazingly stable. Here, the back bottom edge is against the couch back, but it’s otherwise free standing. She can walk all the way around, though we discourage that generally. There are velcro tags on one side, you can attach it to a small post or cage bars, which is your best bet, but doesn’t need much more than that. It also folds flat for storage, and is made of a soft canvasy material, and a tenty, smooth material along the bottom. They like to test chew things and it’s gone very well - there really isn’t much to chew on, and the edges are all quite hard.

I thought about getting this toy but I wasn’t sure, it’s nice to see someone who has it and can give us a good review!

Leila’s went to the cinema with friends, and I’m sat in her room where I’ve been for the past eight hours, doing work.

When will my essay hell end? On yeah, in fourteen days if I don’t have a breakdown. Yippee!
